This aircraft was restored to Museum Quality in 1996 by three retired businessman in Northern California (logbook entries for restoration attached in photo section). The aircraft was sold to a group of private investors and flown to Tuskegee, Alabama where it was placed in storage, pending the completion of a new U.S. Parks Department museum to honor the Tuskegee Airmen of World War II. It was used for promotion, VIP and fund raising events, including a segment on Good Morning America.
The agreement with the U.S. Parks Department and the private investment group ended and the aircraft is now being offered for sale.

The aircraft needs some repairs due to time stored and non aviation personal maintaining the aircraft. A list of items provided by an independent A&P are listed below with comments. It is recommend that you perform an inspection of the aircraft prior to placing any bids. Aircraft is currently based in the Atlanta, GA area.

Aircraft is sold as is where is with no warranty expressed or implied. Owner will provide FAA Bill of Sale for said aircraft. Title report performed by King Aircraft Title shows no liens or encumbrances.
Buyer will have 3 days from close of Auction to submit a $500.00 non-refundable down payment to be applied towards the final purchase price. Balance to be paid with in 10 days after auction closes. Buyer will have until February 1st to remove aircraft from current location of make arrangement acceptable to all parties for continued storage. Buyer is subject to any and all appropriate taxes as a result of this sale.
