Q: How long has the Hobbs meter been out of service? Apr-05-15 A: I cannot tell how long the Hobbs meter has been inoperative. All times in the logs are tach time which works. Is Hobbs time recorded anywhere? Q: Hi Am interested. What are the squawks? How old is fabric? Last compression? Oil use? Thanks! Lou Mar-31-15 A: Squawks- Hobbs meter inop. right door latch is tricky. Not sure if the intercom is faulty or my cheap headsets cause a lot of noise. Not sure on whether av/Com in panel works. DG is ancient. Seems to want one notch of flaps to lift off at 60-65. Not sure if that is normal. Last compressions were all in the 70"s. I have only flown it about 10 hours (no time to fly and Michigan weather). Probably using a quart in 6-8 hours Q: If you or the buyer needs assistance with delivery of this aircraft, I may be of service. I have extensive tailwheel, complex, high performance, & vintage aircraft time. My ratings are: Commercial single/multi with instrument, CFI single/multi, ground instructor advance/instrument with over 4500 + hrs. I am not building hours, just enjoy flying. Can deliver without return ticket expense. Available to fly with new owner to home base, tail wheel endorsements and flight reviews. Have delivered 100 + aircraft. References and Qualifications upon request. .Have time in Skyboy. James R. Piche 813-503-3926 pichejr@me.com Mar-31-15 A: Thanks Q: Hi- are any instruments or radios inoperative? Any leaks? What other squawks? Thanks Mar-31-15 A: Flight instruments all seem to work. I have only used the handheld radio that is mounted at the top of the panel. I"m not sure if the panel nav com works. I think it does, I have only flown it locally, and haven"t switched radios. I"m not at all sure about the VOR indicator. I was told it works, but haven"t had any reason to try it. I assume you mean oil leaks? No apparent leaks. I had it annualed last October after I bought it. I spent about $2000. All new tires and tubes, new spinner as the old one was cracked. I bought new rubber conical mounts for the engine mounts as the current ones are weather checked, but the IA/A&P that did the annual didn"t feel they were bad enough to replace. We replaced the oil filter bracket mount bracket also because the old one was cracked. Compressions were all in the 70"s. Hobbs meter not working.

I forgot to answer the fabric question. It was re done in the 80"s and appears to have been hangared since. Fabric is fine
