1959 BEECH K-35 BONANZA, ONLY 2831 TOTAL TIME, 719 SINCE GOOD MAJOR, GEAR DOORS DAMAGED, BUT NOT THE BELLY!THE K-35 IS A FUEL INJECTED, ALMOST 200 MPH CROSS-COUNTRY AIRPLANE.THIS AIRPLANE LOOKS GOOD, IN GLOSSY ALL-OVER WHITE WITH THE 1980’S BONANZA STRIPE PATTERN IN RED AND GREY.LOCATED IN ARIZONA FOR THE 2000’S AND MIDWEST BASED BEFORE THAT, SO THE AIRPLANE IS VERY CLEAN.INSIDE, THE GREY LEATHER SEATS WERE REDONE IN 2000, AND HAVE MODERN, COMFORTABLE BOLSTERS, A REAL IMPROVEMENT OVER THE FACTORY DESIGN SEATS.SHOULDER HARNESSES HAVE BEEN ADDED FOR BOTH FRONT SEAT PASSENGERSFULL FLIGHT AND ENGINE INSTRUMENTATION IS INCLUDED, AS IS A NARCO VOR/LOC INDICATOR/RECEIVER, A NARCO DME AND AUDIO PANEL.THE NARCO COMMS AND TRANSPONDER ARE NOT INCLUDED, BUT THE TRAYS ARE STILL INSTALLED AND FULLY WIRED.RAM’S HORN THROW-OVER YOKEAS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PHOTOS, THIS AIRCRAFT SUFFERED DAMAGE ON TAKE-OFF FROM AN AIRPARK WITH A GRASS RUNWAY IN SANGER TEXAS.THE PILOT REPORTS THE ENGINE SHUT OFF, LIKE A SWITCH, SO A SPARK ISSUE IS SUSPECTED.HE PUT IT DOWN STRAIGHT AHEAD IN A FIELD, BUT THE GEAR WAS NOT FULLY LOCKED BY THE TIME HE TOUCHED DOWN, ON THE WHEELS, AND THE GEAR PARTIALLY FOLDED.DAMAGE WAS SUSTAINED TO THE FOLLOWING:BOTH INBOARD MAIN GEAR DOORS ARE BADLY DAMAGEDBOTH ATTACHMENT RIBS FOR THE INBOARD DOORS ARE RIPPEDBOTH NOSEGEAR DOORS ARE DESTROYED, ALONG WITH THE HINGES, AND THERE IS A SMALL DENT TO THE WELL EDGE FROM A HINGE.THE EXHAUST PIPE HAS A SMALL DENT/WRINKLE ON THE EDGE.THE PLASTIC TAILCONE IS BROKEN, BUT THE REAR BULKHEAD ITSELF IS UNDAMAGEDTHE LEFT WING TIP, (AN UPGRADED “M” STYLE TIP) WAS TORN BY A FENCE POST, AND THERE IS A SMALL DENT IN THE OUTBOARD LEADING EDGE SLIN (STRAIGHTENABLE), AND THE NOSE RIB (SMALL, FORWARD OF THE FORWARD SPAR ONLY) IS TORN.THERE IS NO VISIBLE DAMAGE TO THE LANDING GEAR ITSELF, ALTHOUGH AN INSPECTION OF THE ACTUATING RODS WOULD BE IN ORDER.THE AIRPLANE IS SITTING SAFELY ON ALL GEAR NOW, AS THEY WERE SECURED IN THE LOCKED POSITION.THIS AIRPLANE IS EQUIPPED WITH THE DOUBLE-PUCK HEAVY DUTY CLEVELAND WHEELS AND BRAKESTHERE DOES NOT SEEM TO BE ANY OTHER DAMAGE TO THE AIRFRAME FROM THIS INCIDENT !!AS THE FLAPS WERE NOT DOWN, THEY WERE NOT SCRAPED OR TOUCHEDTHE WINGS ARE NOT DAMAGED EXCEPT FOR THE LEFT TIP, AS MENTIONEDAILERONS ARE GOOD.RIGHT TIP IS GOODFUSELAGE, FIREWALL, TAILCONE AND TAIL FEATHERS ARE ALL GOOD, NO DAMAGETHIS AIRPLANE HAS THE RE-INFORCEMENTS ON THE TAIL FEATHERS, SO IT HAS NO SPEED RESTRICTIONS.THE BELLY NEVER TOUCHED THE GROUND !!THE CLOSEST IT CAME WAS THE LENS AND THE STROBE BULB OF THE BELLY STROBE, BUT NOT THE BODY OF THE STROBE !!ALL OF THE WINDOW GLASS IS GOOD.THE OVERALL APPEARANCE OF THE AIRPLANE IS QUITE GOOD.WHILE IN ARIZONA, THE AIRPLANE WAS MAINTAINED AND INSPECTED BY CUTTER AVIATION IN DEER VALLEY, A TOP SHOP !!LAST ANNUAL WAS PERFORMED 10/12/2017, AND HAS ONLY 3 HOURS SINCE ANNUAL. THIS AIRPLANE IS TECHNICALLY IN CALENDAR ANNUAL TILL THIS FALL !!THE ENGINE WAS MAJOR OVERHAULED 6/2000 BY FIREWALL FORWARD, TO NEW LIMITS AND SPEC’S !NEW MILLENIUM CYLINDERS AT THE MAJOR !LAST COMPRESSION SHOWS THEM STILL GOOD !!THE PROP IS THE NEW STYLE HARTZELL, AND IT WAS INSTALLED BRAND NEW IN 2006 ! ONLY 198 HOURS SINCE NEW !!BLADES ARE BOTH BENT NOW.AS A RESULT, THE ENGINE WILL REQUIRE AN INSPECTION.THE SPINNER APPEARS UNDAMAGED.THIS AIRCRAFT IS LOCATED AT A PRIVATE HANGER AT THE SANGER AIRPARK.WE WILL PAY THE STORAGE FOR 30 DAYS FROM THE END OF THE AUCTION, BUT YOU MUST PAY ANY ADDITIONAL CHARGES AFTER THAT.YOU COULD OF COURSE DISASSEMBLE THIS AIRPLANE FOR STORAGE, BUT WITH THE REMOVAL OF THE BAD DOORS, REPLACEMENT OF THE PROP, AND OF COURSE SOME TROUBLESHOOTING OF THE SPARK ISSUE, WHO KNOWS?SOLD WITH AIRFRAME, ENGINE AND PROP LOGS SINCE DAY 1, PLUS POH, FACTORY FLIGHT MANUAL, RECIEPTS AND ACCESSORY MANUALS, ETC.PLUS THE FAA BILL OF SALE, OF COURSE.LOTS OF NICE AIRPLANE HERE FOR THE RIGHT BUYER.GOOD BIDDING !
