1960 Piper PA-24-250 Comanche Aircraft Total Time: 4224 S/N 24-2350 This Auction is for the entire aircraft as seen The Comanche has been a favorite from the beginning. With its retractable gear, tappered wings, speed and long range the Comanche is the perfect plane to move around in. This Comanche suffered a gear up landing because well like most the Pilot simple forgot the gear until it was too late! Maybe you have a Comanche and need parts or you would like to rebuild a Comanche here is your opportunity. Damage is minimal. Mainly the belly skins. Gear doors appear to be damage free. Bottom cowling is slightly damaged due to a dent but looks repairable. Now at one point in its life the plane suffered hail damage. I guess the owner didnt mind and kept flying it for years. Please see the pics to get a good idea of the hail damage. The interior is leather with custom stitching but the front seats do so wear from climbing in and out. Most of the instruments and avionics are included. It did have a pair of Mithcell MX 170"Bs but they have been removed, the trays however are still installed and included. Radios Included: King KMA 20 King KR 87 ADF King KT 76 The Lycoming O-540 engine has been removed and is NOT included in the sale. The exhaust, engine mount and all other electrical and cables are there. No landing gear damage or flap damage (grip tape on r/h flap is peeling at trailing edge) Located in Edgewood New Mexico only 20 miles east of Albuqurque. Plane is ready to be disassembled and trucked to your location. Please if you have any questions feel free to ask.
