I have a BK-1, Experimental Aircraft that needs to be completed. Most of the hard work has already been completed. The fuselage, rudder, wings, horizontal stabilizer and gear have been completed and the builder did a fantastic job putting this together. If you are not familiar with the BK-1, search the internet and you will find a great deal of information as well as videos of the completed aircraft. This is a single engine, low-wing Light Sport Aircraft that flies on a 60 HP Volkswagen engine, yet gets a cruise speed of around 120 knots. The kit was started several years ago but things happened and it is now in my hands. It has not been registered so there is no paperwork available. If you have the time, the only remaining tasks is to put everything together, add an engine (Volkswagen or another similar engine), prop, instruments and you will be in the air in no time. You are getting over $7,000 dollars of parts that have already been assembled so are saving money and lots of time. No engine comes with the aircraft so you will have to get your own. This is also being configured as a tricycle gear but if you reverse the mains, it will now become a tail-dragger. Contact me if you have any questions. Current date: 2018-04-26
