Up for sale is a Douglas dc-3 propeller (3 blade), placed in a well sealed container, it was stored for a number of years in North Texas. There is some surface rust on some of the teeth behind the hub. Blades are in great condition, painted grey with yellow tips.IT IS UNKNOWN IF THIS PROP IS SERVICEABLE OR NOT AS I DID NOT LOCATE ANY LOGS OR PAPERWORK ON THE PROP. IT WOULD EASILY MAKE A GREAT PIECE OF HANGER ART, OR YARD ART, OR HAVE YOUR LOCAL PROP SHOP CHECK IT OUT ANDPOSSIBLY PUT IT BACK IN SERVICE.( FOR ALL I KNOW IT COULD BE BRAND NEW AND NEVER INSTALLED). As a certified A&P,I would strongly recommend having it re- conditioned if your considering using it. The prop includes a complete hub, and both"C" caps, and it"s original splined sleeve. This prop was purchased along with some other aviation items and is of no use for myproject, so only selling to help buy more parts for my air racer project.SHIPPING IS NOT AVAILABLE.
