Navy N3N-3 Project - Naval Aircraft Factory N3N-3 - Registration No.: N7752C - Serial No.: 4353 - Airframe Total Time: 3714 Hours. - No engine. - No prop. - R-985 engine mount. - R-1340 engine mount. - Extra set of lower wings. - Many extra control surfaces and stabilizers. - Extra crashed fuselage with many original parts still in it including front cockpit parts. - BT-13/T6 wheels and brakes installed. - Last airworthiness certificate was “Restricted” category. - Most all parts included to convert back to stock 2 holer. - Has nice original engine dish pan for R-760 engine and some original cowl – formers. - Original fuselage fuel tank in nice shape. - Upper wing needs some basic repairs, but in decent shape. It has the wing fuel tanks necessary for the R-985 installation. - Original instrument panel pad for rear cockpit. - Restoration has been started. Fuselage has been paint stripped and all removable parts have been removed. - The plane was used by the US Navy Academy until retirement in 1960. - Last flight was in 1983 with Medlock Dusters in Woodland, CA - Civilian logs back to 1961 when first certified civilian. - Good records and all past 337 forms. - Lot’s of drawings and photos. N3N’s did not have manuals. - Clean clear title. - Project located in Santa Rosa, CA at the Sonoma County Airport.
