An opportunity to bid and own the original Aerojet Special, BD5J, N70CF with serial number 001.
Built in 1976 using some of the original BD5J parts is now offered for sale by the builder, stunt pilot and owner.
This little jet was featured in all the flying scenes in the popular James Bond movie Octopussy with Roger Moore.
The opening sequence was the jet exiting a horse trailer, flying over troops, evading a missile by flying through a hangar and landing on a highway and coasting into a gas station. "Fill her up please".
This jet has been featured in magazines worldwide, in addition to award winning Japanese commercials, music videos and TV shows.
It has flown in airshows throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and South Africa.
Recognized as the worlds smallest jet by Guinness Book of World Records. The jet has a wing span of 17 feet by 12 feet long, weighing 430 pounds.
It can be transported on a truck with a 12 foot cargo box or a single pallet in a commercial jet liner.
The jet is currently on display at The Museum of Flying in Santa Monica, CA. The aircraft will be sold non flying, out of annual without engine.
