Cessna 310d 1960 N2211F S/N: 39235 I don"t have a spec sheet but will try describe it as best possible. Avionics are visible in Pics. Older radios but all work fine. 30 gallon aux tanks. Total 130 gallons fuel. Left and right under wing retractable landing lights. All AD"s complied with except Southwind Heater compression test. FAST and ECONOMICAL. Pull the power back to 20MP and enjoy a cheaper ride!
Files straight and true. Nice tight controls. Engines produce good power. Total time approx 4500 hrs. IO470 fuel injected. Engine times approx 1385 hrs each. Comps in the mid-upper 70"s. Hartzell Top Prop. conversion. Approx 650 hrs each. Original logs were lost before I bought her in 2014. Complete Airframe and engine logs from 2009. Logs have been recreated from FAA logs. (EXTENSIVE Binders of photocopies) Auto Pilot INOP.
Heater had a new upgraded Ignition system and new fuel pump in 2015. (approx $2500) New "High - Low" Fuel pump kit SK310-104B1 (approx $1400) Fuel selectors rebuilt. New Landing gear Motor installed. (approx $1500) New gas matt batteries installed. ($600)
2 NEW main Landing gear strutt inserts installed with new seals. 1 like new nose landing gear strutt installed with new seals. 2 new brake rotors installed. (Over $8k)
2016 - 2018 (Present Annual- EXTENSIVE $28k)
All Fuel pumps overhauled by aircraft accessories of Oklahoma. (approx $7k) Main Fuel bladders resealed by Eagle Fuel cells. ($1800) All engine hoses replaced with date stamp. Fuel lines replaced. Exhaust studs replaced. Throttle control boxes rebuilt. Both Fuel selector valves replaced shaft seals. Both Alternate Air control cables replaced. Elevator trim tab hardware replaced per MEB 27-02 Motor mount Bolts replaced. And a lot of other misc stuff!!!
All AD"s complied with except new Southwind heater compression test. Paint is older but good and solid. Could do with some polishing to bring back shine! Interior is good, no seat tears. Side windows are a little foggy, can be polished.
I have flown this plane over 30 hours and she"s a fantastic machine. SNOOZE you LOSE! NO RESERVE !!! C"mon guys this is a great plane ready for new owner to enjoy. There was only very minor corrosion found near the tail section. It was cleaned and CorrosionX applied.
I believe the plane had light wing damage long ago and was repaired. 337 is in Binder.
I have never landed on grass strips with this plane!
I believe the TBO on the IO470"s is 1600hrs but I know people who are flying with over 2500 hours with no issues. Please research "Mike Busch" for his opinion on overhauls.
