You are bidding on a 1976 IAI Westwind Model 1124. N4WG. this aircraft suffered a left main landing gear depart when it left Belize on October 24, 2017. it landed at Sarasota Airport Florida with just some minor damage to the main landing gear and left flap. this aircraft has 12,034 hrs TTAF the Garrett Turbo Fan engines have 6,567 hrs soh on both engines. the "D" inspection still has 2912 cycles remaining before overhaul. I have located all parts to repair on the field and cost $11,500. you can do the repair at Sarasota International Airport at the hangar. there are 3 A/P"s located there who are experts on Westwind aircraft along with spare parts. this Westwind is current in all inspections and is legal to fly in the United States compliant with all noise modifications. this plane has been based there for a few years. the estimate for the parts of $11,500 for all serviceable, left main landing gear, along with the left flap, gear door, tires, brakes, and rim. all parts are "bolt-on" and approx labor to repair will be in the 30-35 hrs of labor. labor rate is $102/hr. no belly damage was done on the landing.
