The Duke 1977 & later Engines are the last and Best generation of the Lycoming direct Drive, TIO-541"s
Family. Starting with 1977 & Later, They are the TIO-541 (E1C4) these engines have many improvements over pre 1977 Duke Aircraft. 1977 & Later Dukes have the Large Turbo Charger"s, Improved Cylinders, improved Cam"s, improved Waist Gate"s & Better oiling just to mention a few things.
If the Beech Duke were in production today the basic cost would be over two million!
