“used in airworthy condition”
This is used North Wing Stratus 182 ,made what it looks like in 07/2008 ( hard to read the placard).I bought it roughly 3 years ago in state of Washington from the original owner ,claimed 80 hours at the sale I add another 15 +- on it during few months .The wing flies really nice without any bad behavior ,flies straight without any tendency to turn to either side ,but with larger engine some p-factor might apply .Now about the present condition ,as you can see from the pictures it has some stains and dirt spots .One of the large stain spots was left after me flying and packing the wing on freshly cut grass airfield and after I packed the wing some of the grass get inside the sail ,I noticed that week later when I flown the wing again ,yes I had to pack the wing after every flight which is one of the reason for sale but I think with little soapy water it can be washed of.One of the lower wing tips has missing about 1 1/2 inch of the black liner ,please see the pictures.There is also one patch which was repaired by north wing ,I bought it like that and to be honest I don"t know what happened ,but it does not affect performance other than that the sail is still in good condition with plenty of life left .This is slow wing it flies at trim around 28 mph and is really good for soaring ,has exceptional glide .I would rate the wing on scale 1-10 about 7 because of some cosmetics ,the frame is sound and solid but the sail has some stains ,overall regular condition to its age .It comes with manual,batten chart,bag of spare parts and hang block .
The wing will be sold in as is condition without any warranty and sold as parts only,I will not ship or sell outside of usa .No warranty ,no returns ,no refund.You can try u-ship service to found someone who can be willing to pick it up ,otherwise this is only for pick up in Monterey California.Must be picked up within 3 weeks but I"m willing to work with buyer on timeframe.50 $ deposit via paypal within 48 hours after the auction ends .
