Overview: The Taylorcraft BC12-D is a side-by-side two-place, single-engine, high-wing general aviation monoplane, with conventional landing gear. This 1946 aircraft, S/N 6982, is offered for sale as an aircraft restoration project, “as is and where is”. It appears to meet FAA requirements for registration as a Light Sport Aircraft. The aircraft has not been inspected since we received it. Logbooks indicate it was disassembled in 2011. The major assemblies (fuselage, wings with ailerons, horizontal and vertical stabilizer, elevator, rudder, and propeller) are all there, plus numerous parts and documentation (see photos).
