THIS IS A NICELY MAINTAINED, WELL CARED FOR 35 BONANZA
THE CONTINENTAL E-225-8 ENGINE WAS OVERHAULED IN 2004, AND HAS ONLY 162 HOURS SMOH. THIS AIRCRAFT ORIGINALLY CAME WITH AN E-185, SO THE 225 H.P. UPGRADE REALLY MAKES IT A MUCH BETTER PERFORMER !!
COMPRESSIONS AT LAST ANNUAL, 4/28/2014 WERE FANTASTIC AT 75/76/75/78/70/78 OVER 80 !!!!!
UPGRADED WITH A JASCO ALTERNATOR SYSTEM AND SLICK MAGS
THIS NICE AIRCRAFT SUFFERED DAMAGE WHEN THE PILOT SIMPLY FORGOT TO LOWER THE LANDING GEAR !!
NOT A COLLAPSE OR MALFUNCTION, SO THERE IS NO DAMAGE TO THE GEAR, ACTUATING RODS, OR GEAR MOTOR/TRANSMISSION.
YOU WILL NOTICE FROM THE PHOTOS THAT THERE IS NO DAMAGE TO THE MAIN GEAR DOORS, EITHER OUTBOARD OR THE VERY EXPENSIVE INBOARDS, AS THEY WERE NEATLY TUCKED UP, NOT DOWN OR PARTIALLY DOWN !!
UNFORTUNATELY, THE NOSE GEAR DOORS HAVE SOME SCRAPING ON THE FLAT EDGES FROM THE RUNWAY SURFACE, AND THERE IS DAMAGE TO SEVERAL OF THE BELLY SKINS AND LOWER FORMERS ON THE FORWARD BELLY.
THE AFT BELLY IS NOT DAMAGED AT ALL, BECAUSE THE TRAILING EDGES OF THE FLAPS, WHICH WERE DOWN FOR LANDING, TOOK THE SCRAPING, KEEPING THE AFT BELLY CLEAR.
THERE IS NO DAMAGE TO THE AILERONS, TIPS, OR WINGS AT ALL !!
THE TAIL AND ALL TAIL FEATHERS ARE UNDAMAGED AND LOOK GOOD.
INSIDE, THE RED SOFT CLOTH INTERIOR LOOKS GOOD, AND THE DASH IS VERY CLEAN !!
THE KING DIGITAL RADIO PANEL UNITS HAVE BEEN REMOVED, AND ARE NOT INCLUDED, BUT THE TRAYS, WIRING AND ANTENNAS ARE STILL INSTALLED AND HOOKED UP. (TRAYS ARE: DUAL KX-155, KMA 20, KT-76, KR-86, KLN-89B)
THE YOKE IS A LATER STYLE RAM"S HORN UPDATE.
ALL FLIGHT AND ENGINE INSTRUMENTATION IS INSTALLED AND INCLUDED, AND IT ALL LOOKS GOOD !!
BOTH BLADES OF THE PROPELLOR ARE DAMAGED, BUT THE ENGINE WAS AT IDLE FOR LANDING, OF COURSE.
THE SPINNER IS UNDAMAGED.
ONE OF THE EXHAUST PIPES HAS A SCRAPE AT THE TRAILING EDGE, THE OTHER LOOKS OK.
NO DAMAGE TO THE LANDING GEAR ITSELF, OR TO THE UPGRADED CLEVELAND WHEELS AND BRAKES
