“October annual, flies great, a steal at this price”
Make: Cessna Model Year: 1956
1956 CESSNA 182
Own a piece of history first year for 182, basically a 180 with a nose wheel, recent annual, good times, three blade hartzell prop. ACTT 3285, 1301 TSMOH, 133 TSTOH (Chrome), 282 TSNP, complete logs, wing and fuselage repair in 1960, all 337s, STC"s, oilmatic engine pre-oiler, new 4 place panel mount intercom, no bladder leaks, recent over 4 thousand dollar annual. I spent a lot of money fixing a lot of small mechanical issues. KX155 works, Genave alpha 200 does not, CDI"s not working, mode c transponder AT50. Flys really well, does not use oil. Continental says normal consumption for this engine is .65 qts per hour, this engine uses much less, maybe 1 quart ever 4-5 hours. Needs paint, Paint is ugly old and faded beyond saving, interior dated but serviceable. This is a really solid solid airplane, no corrosion problems , flies really well. 125-130 kts on 11-13 gph, good useful load, comfortable and capable short field performance. Very good records and maintenance, logs are complete from day one. For more information or to schedule a viewing, please call me, Billy, at 832-541-9871. I am the owner, not a broker. Please, no brokers unless you are buying. I have given an accurate no BS description of the aircraft, not beautiful, not perfect, very good mechanical and airframe, flies great, strictly VFR, not all radios work but you have the basics. This is a good solid aircraft. Your bid is your contract to buy, so please do your due diligence. Please ask any and all questions now. I will be happy for you or your representative to inspect, at your expense, prior to purchase. Look through the cosmetic issues at what you are getting.
