1959 BEECH K35 BONANZA AIRFRAME, PROJECT OR FOR PARTS, CHEAP !
THE K-35 BONANZA IS ONE OF THE 3RD GENERATION OF THE -35 SERIES, WITH STRUCTURAL UPGRADES AND IMPROVEMENTS THAT STARTED WITH THE "57 H35, SUCH AS HEAVIER SPARS AND SKINS FROM THE TRAVEL-AIR TWIN
MOST OF THE APPEARANCE AND "ERGONOMIC/MODERN" FEATURES WE THINK OF IN THE LATER MODEL BONANZAS WERE NOT YET INSTALLED ON A "K" BONANZA.
BUT THEY HAVE BEEN RETRO-FITTED TO THIS AIRPLANE !!
THE OBVIOUS AND MOST DESIRABLE EXTERIOR MOD IS THE LONG 3RD SIDE WINDOW.THIS AIRPLANE HAS HAD THEM ADDED.
THE EARLY LONG SIDE WINDOW AIRPLANES STILL HAD THE SMALL BAGGAGE COMPARTMENT FROM THE NO WINDOW AIRPLANES. THIS AIRPLANE HAS THE LARGER, EXTENDED BAGGAGE FROM THE "S" AND LATER MODELS
THE DASH ON EARLY BONANZAS WAS A MESS, WITH RADIOS LOW ON BOTH CORNERS OF THE DASH, AND INSTRUMENTS PLACED ANYWHERE
THIS AIRPLANE HAS THE "S" AND UP STYLE CENTER INSTRUMENT STACK, WITH THE LATER MODEL "FLOATING" 6 PACK INSTRUMENT POD
THIS SYSTEM REPLACES THE "PIANO KEYS" WITH MODERN BAT SWITCHES, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY HAS SEPARATED MODERN FLAP AND GEAR SWITCHES, IN DIFFERENT PLACES
INCLUDED INSTRUMENTS ARE :

THE FUSELAGE LIGHT IS A STROBE, NOT A BEACON
THE WINDSHIELD HAS BEEN MODIFIED TO THE V35 AND UP "SPEED SLOPE" STYLE
THE VENTILATION SYSTEM IS UPGRADED WITH THE TAIL MOUNTED FIBERGLASS SCOOP, LIKE "P" MODEL AND INDIVIDUAL OVERHEAD VENTS
THIS AIRPLANE SUFFERED DAMAGE SEVERAL YEARS AGO WHEN THE NOSE GEAR WAS BROKEN OUT OF THE WELL WHEN IT HIT A SNOWBANK.
THE DAMAGE TO THE FRONT IS BASICALLY A CHEEK SKIN AND THE NOSE DOORS, WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF SOME ATTACHMENT POINT DAMAGE. NOTE THE CREASE ON THE RIGHT CHEEK SKIN
THE BROKEN NOSE GEAR IS NOT INCLUDED, IT HAS BEEN MISPLACED
THE INTERIOR IS A NICE CREAMY WHITE, WITH HIGH BACK BACKRESTS, INDIVIDUAL BUCKET FRONT SEATS, AND A PAIR OF HEADRESTS
THE INTERIOR HAS A COMPLETE INSULATION PACKAGE INSTALLED, WITH LATE STYLE SHINY FACING, AND THE SIDE PANELS, INCLUDING EXTENDED BAGGAGE PANELS, LOOKS GOOD
