“Right tip tank inop, right strut no visible leakage but sits low”
Make: Pipe Model Year: 1963
This rare and beautiful Cherokee 235 has a fresh annual. This plane has 1250 hours SINCE NEW! Only 2 owners before me!
With 1300lbs USEFUL LOAD! You can take 4 adults, full baggage, and full fuel (84gal with tip tanks) at a comfortable 130kts anywhere! This plane was built for hauling, and will operate off short, grass strips with no problems.
Fixed pitch prop for simple operation.
It was completely stripped and repainted in 2014 along with a new interior. Other upgrades:- SkyTec starter- Plane power alternator- Garmin 340 Audio panel with 4 place intercom and rear music inputs- Garmin 327 Transponder- New battery in 2014- New motor mounts and prop balance April 2015- Rebuilt carburetor with 2015 annual
This plane looks sharp and is easy to fly even for the new pilot. Ease your mind on W&B calculations and density altitude; this is a true "if it will fit in side it will fly" airplane!
Sqwaks:- Right tip tank is INOP due to loose vent pipe (repairable)- Right strut has fresh service and new inflation valve with no visible leakage, but is still sitting low (3" from bottom"). May require a rebuild soon (seal kit is $22 from Aircraft Spruce, check with your local AP for labor costs)
Currently parked in covered hangar.
Reserve is $60k
