Make: Piper Cherokee 180D CD player/4-place Intercom: Narco AT50A Transponder
Model Year: 1967 1/2 Narco Nav-11. Nav 2: KMA 24 Audio Panel W/Marker Beacon
Garmin 430 GPS Nav/com 1: Garmin GNS 430 GPS, NAV, LOC, GS
I flew the plane home to Chicago from Dallas in 1999. Logs indicate that is was an Arizona Airplane prior to that. I kept her hangered at Gary Indiana airport, (GYY) that year and then we moved to the present hanger at Lansing Illinois airport (IGQ). The plane flew, and still flies and handles as smooth as silk. It had all old Narco avionics and even an ADF receiver and Loran. I removed all of that. It"s all digital except the Narco Nav 2 VOR now which is still operating perfectly. The reason for the low time on the airplane is because no one has flown this airplane except me since March 1999. The way that the Ad is represented here makes it look like there are two Garmin 430"s. That is not correct. Com 2 is a Digital Narco 810R Transceiver that I had installed in May of 1999. AOPA Valuation prices the airplane at $41,900. I tried that.....didn"t happen. I dropped the "buy it now" to $35,500 and will accept an offer somewhere close to that.
