“This was a well kept flying plane with 3891 total time before it was flipped over in Hurricane Sandy. It wasn't flooded and has been tarped since I bought it for the engine in January 2013. It doesn't have any serious corrosion and has many good parts that could be used to repair a damaged plane or put together with a plane missing title or log books. There is no mention of serious damage history in the logs.”
Make: Piper Model Year: 1967
The front and main landing gear are fine as well as the engine mount. There is no serious corrosion in any of the parts;only some normal light surface corrosion on inside surfaces. There isn"t any hail and only a very few minor dings. The left wing is good but has had a very professional looking skin repair (about 5" x 10" on the leading edge). It is barely noticeable except the paint is peeling.. The tanks had fuel and no leak stains. The left tank looks good even though the right wing is bent outboard of the tank. The upper and lower cowlings are serviceable with just some previous normal crack repairs. The nose cowling had some cracks that I properly repaired. The flaps, left aileron, and stabilator are all in good straight condition(right trim tab missing). There is a repairable hat rack fiberglass unit with some cracks. I have the good bill of sale to pass to the buyer. There are too many other good parts to mention but I will be happy to answer questions by phone, text, or email. Thanks, Jon 620-224-3437
