If you are looking for a serious cross country aircraft, this Mooney will travel fast, burn fuel economically, and has some serious avionics and autopilot to make cross country travel safe and comfortable. For local flying and short trips, you can throttle back and get fuel burns like a Cessna 172. She’s a really pretty aircraft also. This airplane is very well equipped with great avionics and autopilot, and some really nice accessories. I am an A&P mechanic and I own this aircraft outright. Hangared at Arlington Municipal Airport, Arlington, Texas (KGKY). Access by appointment. This is a late M20C model Mooney. They made the M20C from 1963 to 1978. This is a 1977 model. PROPELLER: Hartzell HC-C2YR-1BF, has ONLY 52.32 hours since overhaul. This aircraft had a very extensive annual in October 2017, and now has a fresh Annual Inspection signed off on October 2018. All engine and airframe AD’s complied. Aircraft flies well, trims out well. Flies well hands free even without the autopilot engaged. All avionics and accessories operate. Exterior White/Blue/Silver. Paint is shiny, overall in very good condition. Has some surface scratches here and there. No hail damage or other damage that I can see, other than some minor scratches, etc. I rate it about a 7 or 8 overall. A very pretty airplane as the photos show.
