This Aztec was purchased by a dealer for 87,500 to be resold. The dealer put a little time and money in to it and resold it for 97,000. On the acceptance flight the left main gear actuator developed a leak. When the pilots came in for a landing there was not enough fluid left to lower and lock the nose gear leading to the nose gear collapsing on landing. Damage is limited to props, nose gear doors, radome and nose section sheet metal.
I have found zero time props for 16,000 and a nose section for 3,000. Labor to install props, perform prop strike tear down inspections, overhaul maggs, jack airplane and service landing gear system, and repair nose to ferry to sheet metal shop is 3,500.
Once at the sheet metal shop the donor nose will be installed and painted for 5-7,000.
For less than 65,000 you can have a 100,000 airplane.
The aircraft is loaded with options, boots, oxygen, great leather interior and paint. It has a GNS430W, auto pilot, Sperry RADAR, and auto pilot.
Nothing will be removed from the airplane. Last photo is donor nose.
