All ADs and SBs complied with.I"ve owned this aircraft for 10 years. Was previously owned by a commercial pilot for 8 ½ years. Has never been a trainer aircraft. Aircraft was flown from North Dakota to Las Vegas 2 years ago. Had no difficulties climbing to and cruising along at 11,000 ft. Everyone who has flown with me has remarked on what a nice aircraft this is. Cost wise it is very reasonable to own and very reasonable to fly. The only reason I am selling is that I am relocating again with my work and can not take it with me this time. ENGINE Lycoming 0235 -L2C engine with Sparrowhawk conversion . Conversion increases horsepower from 110HP to 125HP . This is a FAA STC"d approved conversion. All paperwork in place. I believe the conversion increases the piston size which gives a higher compression ratio. Is combined with larger propeller. Total time of engine is 5647 hours and 1114 hours SMOH.#1 and #3 cylinder were overhauled in 2005. #3 cylinder was overhauled in 2012. All compressions were in the 70s at the last annual.TBO for the engine is 2400 so there is still plenty of time left on the engine. Sensenich Propeller which has a climb pitch set to it. AVIONICS Excellent aircraft for IFR operations. Avionic master switch to turn off/on all avionics at once. Bendix/King KMA 26 audio panel. Lights up at night. 3 MKR BKNS and switching between Comm/Nav1 and Comm/Nav 2 Bendix/King 89b IFR GPS. GPS is certified for IFR, but is installed as a VFR installation. Solid State with ACK A30 Altitude encoder.Analog EGT gauge by Alcor to monitor and lean engine power. Sirs Magnetic Compass – beautiful compass, very easy to read and lights up blue at night. here input installed in panel for mp3 player or ipod. EXTERIOR (See pics) The exterior is the original paint scheme and original paint job. I would rate it a 6/10. It still has that glossy look but if I was going to keep the aircraft I would have it repainted for cosmetic reasons. All 4 Cessna strut cuffs were replaced on the wing struts. Small crack on each wingtip (see pic). All 3 wheel fairings have been custom painted to match the paint scheme. Some nicks noted on nose wheel fairing (see pic). Also small hairline crack on left side of nose wheel fairing that has been drill stopped. There is also a very small dent on the wing along the leading edge (hangar rash). Does not effect flight (see pic).New tires September 2009. New battery August 2013. Factory steps on struts and handles on top side of cowling to help climbing up during the preflight inspection.Windshield replaced in 2003 and still in very good shape. All glass has light tint including the windshield. INTERIOR (see pics) Plastic panel in the front replaced and painted. Black carpet shows very little wear. Seats in nice condition. Sporty red made of soft cotton, back of seat has red vinyl pockets for handy storage. Overall rate the interior as a 7 out of 10.ELT: Alk-EO1 using regular “D” cell batteries.
