“Aircraft is airworthy has current annual and pitot static for IFR. Aircraft has normal wear and tear for age and condition. Interior 6/10 and exterior 7/10”
Make: Piper Model Year: 1981
Aircraft background:
I have owned and operated this aircraft for the last 10 years. In that time, the aircraft has had no accidents or incidents. Although the aircraft (airframe) has over 8500 hours of total time, it is a reliable and dependable aircraft (daily flyer). The engine has 2,200 hours (TSMO), the last annual showed the compressions were all within specification. I have used the same A&P for most of the 10 years of ownership, so he knows the plane very well and can vouch for it. I have the log books that go back over 16 years. All A/D"s will be addressed before sale by my A&P and I can arrange for a pre purchase inspection/annual at buyers request.
Last Annual: January 18, 2016Last pitot/static: March 29, 2016
Airframe Condition:
Aircraft paint is about a 7/10 with the nose bowl repainted and reconstructed (new fiber glass) at the last annualThere are some small areas of cosmetic wear and cracking on the fiber glass but otherwise airworthyInterior is about 6/10 with usual cosmetic wear. I have two nice sheepskin seat covers for additional comfort
Avionics:
Dual King 170B Nav/Comm with GlideslopeGarmin GPS 100 (needs new battery as database is incomplete)King ADF (not currently serviceable)Century 2 Autopilot (coupled to NAV/Heading/Approach)Electric Pitch Trim (currently unservicable)Gill 7035 series sealed battery installed 01/09/2015
Engine:
Electroair Electronic Ignition (Replaces the right magneto and has larger gap plugs) - installed 8/21/2013Cylinder Compressions at last annual: #1 76/80 #2 78/80 #3 75/80 #4 78/80Replaced overhauled alternator 5/20/2013Starter Motor replaced 3/04/2011 with Kelly ERZ-9011 E-Drive starter (starts like a champ)Vacum pump replaced 4/12/2014
Overall I would say the engine is in good shape given the hours TBO
I would throughly expect any buyer to preform a pre buy inspection which I can arrange with my A&P. However, if you are a winning bidder (and you have not conducted a pre buy inspection) the deposit is non-refundable.
