Make: Preceptor Model Year: 1989
1989 Nostalgair N3 Pup, qualifies as an EXPERIMENTAL LIGHT SPORT AIRCRAFT, does not require a medical.
Current kit price is $11,750 without an engine, instruments, etc. and takes approximately 250 hours to assemble! This is a completed aircraft.
N7028N, ~135TT, ~90h Rotax 447, pull starter is INSIDE the cockpit, no getting away from you and turning into a drone, or getting parts of your body chopped off! This example was NOT built to meet ultralight part 103 requirements; it was built as an experimental aircraft, requires at least a sport pilot"s license and does not have the part 103 weight restrictions. If you are looking for an ultralight you can fly without a pilot"s license, this is not for you.
Basic VFR panel, longer range model with 5 gal main fuel tank and factory option of two 3 gal wing tanks, all-metal wings, new OEM landing gear bungee rings, new Props Inc. propeller, 360 lb empty weight, new Matco tailwheel, strobe, new 4-ply tires, new voltage rectifier/regulator (not installed), Bing carb cleaned and completely rebuilt with new needles and jets, overhauled Mikuni fuel pump, fresh condition inspection by A&P, at 8B5/Tanner-Hiller Airport, New Braintree MA.
Easily disassembled (NO folding wing option), can be flown home (in short hops!), or shipped in a U-Haul truck or to an international buyer in a shipping container.
Full disclosure: Logs are NOT complete, original owner did not log hours after finishing 40 hrs of Phase 2. Engine was changed by original owner from underpowered Global to current Rotax 447 back in the 90"s, but FAA was not notified of the major change. This engine has been signed off by the FAA for use on this model, so even though the owner flew it for 90+ hours, you may have to fly a few hours in local area (if I haven"t done so already) to return to Phase 2.
Note that your bid is a binding contract. A deposit of $500 is required within 48 hours of winning the auction. The deposit is required immediately if you agree to pay the Buy It Now price. You"ll have FIVE working days after winning the auction to complete the transaction. The aircraft will be sold as-is, where-is at 8B5. You will be responsible for disassembly and transport, if necessary. There is a local A&P at the airport available for hire to help you disassemble for transport if necessary. The aircraft will come with the partial logs, documentation and partial original drawings (two copies).
DO NOT SEND ME MESSAGES TO MAKE ME OFFERS OUTSIDE OF THE AUCTION. I WILL REPORT YOU TO EBAY IF YOU DO SO. USE THE BIDDING SYSTEM. IF YOU DON"T LIKE IT, OR THE PRICE, STAY AWAY. DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEFORE BIDDING.
