This Husky is one of three that I have owned and had the pleasure to fly. I bought it last summer in Phoenix AZ. The second owner had a landing mishap in the desert which damaged the LH wing and elevator. There was NO damage to the fuselage, engine, prop, right wing etc. and there was NO prop strike. The left wing was rebuilt professionally to the highest standard using all new factory parts and recovered using the exact covering and paint process from the factory. One can not tell which wing was ever damaged inside or out, the covering is perfect and all reinforcement tapes are in the exact location as factory. The plane is in excellent condition and still looks new. Its rigged perfectly to fly hands off. There are no discrepancies or any liens/encumbrances on the airplane whatsoever.
Huskys are the most fun and capable certified aircraft. Having flown many different aircraft, few have left me with the fun memories and smiles on my face like the Husky. They can take off and land in 200" or shorter. So getting in and out of short sand/gravel bars or your farm will not be any problem. They are strong, well built and safe. Most of the accidents involving Huskys allowed for the occupants to walk away unscathed. With the 180hp and constant speed prop, Speeds of 105 to 110kts is typical depending on tire size and weights. This husky has the rear aft baggage compartment in the tail. It has plenty of room for guns, rod and reels, tents, sleeping bags etc. Im selling to finish and make room for my other airplane projects.
