“Project only. Not Airworthy.”
Make: Ercoupe Model Year: 1946
Listed is Ercoupe N99999, serial number 2622. This is a 415-D model with a gross weight of 1400 pounds. Therefore, IT IS NOT LIGHT SPORT. This is a project aircraft. I purchased a hangar and the Ercoupe was part of the deal. The logs have been lost so this is being sold with no paperwork whatsoever. I do have all the FAA registration records for N99999 which can be viewed at here And all the airworthiness records can be viewed at: here The aircraft has been in a heated hangar for the past 6 years. I do not know where it lived prior to that. The wings are off. I have inspected the wings and the center section with a boroscope and see no corrosion but I am not an A&P. I encourage you to do your own inspection of the aircraft before you complete the purchase. If you are not completely comfortable with the aircraft when you come to pick it up, your full deposit will be immediate refunded. The engine is a continental C-85. I have no idea of its condition. As there are no logs I suggest it be overhauled. The wings are fabric. There are no rudder pedals. Instruments include altimeter, T&B, Compass, Hobbs Meter, Airspeed, Clock, Suction gauge, Artificial Horizon, Manifold Pressure, CHT, Oil Temp. It has a Stromberg Carburetor, mixture control and handbrake. Included with the aircraft are wheel pants (hard to find). The nosebowl ring has two landing lights installed on it which were installed on the aircraft with a 337 form found in the airworthiness records. Not shown in the pictures is the McCauley propeller. The aircraft is on a custom made trailer designed specifically for Ercoupes. The trailer is being sold with the aircraft so the winner can hook up the trailer to your car and tow it home. Winner must pay a $1000 deposit within 24 hours of auction end (PayPal, wire transfer or check sent via overnight service). The balance to be paid when you pick up the plane. If you are not 100 percent satisfied with the aircraft when you come to see it, I will immediately refund your full deposit. The aircraft is located at KOWK, Central Maine Airport in Norridgewock, Maine.
