“Flew in to Andrews AFB September 2005, will need FAA certification and service”
Make: MCDONNELL DOUGLAS Model Year: 1971
Call me at 256-996-7696. I bought this Aircraft from the US Airforce with intentions to sell it to a company in TX who said they would handle the service and FAA certification to fly it out of Andrews AFB by the end of June but they are not able to do that now so I am offering it for sell. Call me with questions, what I know about it is its a 1971 built for the airforce and used as the VIP transport for the Allied Commander of NATO and left Ramstein AB in Germany for Andrews AFB in September 2005 for display. Aircraft served as a static display since September 2005. It is NOT certificated by FAA at this time. All airforce logs/records/and reports are included. Inspection, service or dismantling and removal by transport or flying it out will be permitted. I am told the engines are Twin Pratt & Whitney JT8D and they are reported to be at 14442 hours, 19422 cycles on #1 and 36837 hours , 39618 cycles on #2. all navigational equipment is suppose to be intact. I own this aircraft and am looking to sell it ASAP so the buyer can start the service and certification process. I have it listed for sale elsewhere and reserve the right to sell it at any time. Call me to set up an appointment to inspect it.
