This Iskra TS-11 Was manufactured in 1970 and has acquired 2572.2 Hrs TTSN. The engine is a single stage axial SO-3 turbine engine manufactured by WSK. 2572.2 Hrs TTSN / 469.8 Hrs SMOH. The Engine was last overhauled in July of 1988 (S/N: 37174113) The last flight commenced Sept /07. I was told that the engine was periodically run since. The aircraft was imported to the USA in 1992 from Poland and had two Concord batteries installed to allow engine starts without the use of a GPU. The airframe and engine has well documented repairs and mods. The logs are not available previous to 1992. There are no outstanding liens to this aircraft nor is there any documented damage history. The aircraft was issued a C of A on Nov 17 / 1992. The ejection seats were disarmed and a King KX-155 and a Mode C KT-76a transponder were installed with a blind encoder. A PS two place Intercom system was also installed. The aircraft was serviced in accordance with an FAA approved maintenance schedule and airframe service manual also included with the logs. The aircraft had two main tires Installed three years ago and the nose tire has some weather cracking. The canopy has a few splits and cracking. There does not appear to be any corrosion to speak of. The airframe is relatively clean minus a few areas where paint has chipped away but can be painted in. The main inboard gear doors are not currently installed but are included. The hydraulic hoses to the main gear actuators have some cracking as well. The batteries would need to be replaced and there is a small nitrogen leak that needs to be sourced for the canopy assist cylinder. After 1969 the SO-3 engine was installed in these aircraft due to the longer TBO and more power than the previous SO-1. The SO-3 can provide 2,400 lb of thrust at take off. The SO-1 had supposedly 2200 lb of thrust. The aircraft is currently located at (KMIV) In Millville New Jersey. You are bidding on an in-tact aircraft. If you bid, you buy.
