Medical issues are causing me to sell my favorite toy. This is a Phantom Utralight or LSA aircraft. It would need a five gallon tank for ultralight compliance, it has ten gallon. Powered by a Rotax 503 two-stroke engine with dual Bing carbs and factory dual Ducati ignition. Never exceed speed 100 mph, stall 35 mph. Takes off in less than 250 ft!
I don"t know how many hours, the meter wasn"t working when I got it. It starts easy and runs great. It"s in flying condition now, but will need new sails soon, which cost $1500.00 for a full set.
This is one of the best and safest designs in its class, rated for 9 positive, 6 negative Gs. Yes, people do aerobatics in them! Phantom Aeronautics is still in business, so parts are still readily available at a good price.
