Piper Tri-Pacer flying project. PA 22-150 Airframe has 2780 Hours. This is a complete aircraft, all parts present and accounted for, nothing robbed out of it. I became involved with this project in May of 2014 as a fixer upper for the owner, now going a different direction.

Prior to that the plane was disassembled to transport to home base versus repair on site in Kansas. The Airframe was recovered in 1984 and deemed in good condition per punch test there however were some issues needing attention so the decision was made to do an extensive annual versus a total restoration

Both wings had some tapes that were separated enough to warrant attention, all those deemed loose were pulled off and new 2" tapes were reapplied, Top and bottom of both wings then had Rejuvenator brushed on initially then sprayed along with silver and round patches as needed.

Wing lift struts are the newer sealed style variant as made by Atlee Dodge, no repetitive AD to concern with on that issue. Fuel tanks were removed and cleaned up inside and out, fuel level senders had new gaskets installed and leak checked.

Nose gear was removed and inspected to verify the top bearing was in compliance with an AD/Service bulletin that had been missed on last Annual, found to be in compliance then greased and reassembled.

Engine is an original Lycoming 320 150 HP with no dash number has 1402 Hours on a Major O/H with 97 hours top O/H, has recently been run and fired up nicely, Has Chrome Cylinders

Panel includes the Michell MX 300 Cessna replacement NAV/COM, the Transponder, improved Attitude Gyro, still has a battery installed under the seat to try it all out.

Right landing gear leg which has been accomplished and fabric has been applied up to primer and sanding, is back on its gear and will load up on a trailer without issue. It could also reassemble and fly away.
