Up for sale is my Rand Robinson KR-1 Experimental Aircraft. Too many projects is forcing me to sell this one, for a fraction of what I have invested. Here is some information on the aircraft:The KR1 is a high-performance, single person, home built aircraft. The flight controls are conventional. N454EM is fitted with a stick and rudder pedals with differential braking. The engine that powers this KR1 is a Revmaster Aviation Model RS-2100-D Volkswagen 4 cylinder, 2100 CC engine. It has been modified specifically for aircraft use and has been fitted with an ignition system comprised of single drive dual magnetos and is rated for 80 hp at maximum rpm. The power plant is lubricated with automotive oil and runs on automotive fuel. The aircraft"s wingspan is 22"2"" and overall length is 15"10". Wings are detachable for transport. N454EM has been originally built from plans by Rand Robinson Aircraft, USA. The aircraft has a special airworthiness certificate from the FFA and has been approved for phase 1 flight testing. Equipment includes: Mixture control, carburetor heat control, hydraulic toe brakes, electric starter, rudder and elevator trim controls, accelerometer (g force indicator), altimeter, vertical speed indicator, slip indicator, airspeed indicator, magnetic compass, tachometer, oil temperature indicator, oil pressure indicator, cylinder head temperature indicator, hour meter, ammeter, fighter plane control stick. The aircraft is approved for VFR day flight. A flight manual, registration, special airworthiness certificate, and transfer of registration will be included with the aircraft.
