Today, I have a rotax motor and gearbox for sale. I acquired this engine and gearbox on an ultralite a couple of years ago. When I bought it the guy started the motor so I know it ran but the carb leaked. I brought the ultralite home and removed the engine when I noticed the sails failed a punch test which was ok, I expected that. I ordered a new carb and went shopping for new sails. In the intrim a bad storm moved in and left the ultralite in a neighbors yard 4 houses away. So I gathered the bent and twisted parts and shelved the motor. That was 18 months ago and it is still on the shelf. When I got the ultralite I was told the engine was a 377 but there is no engine I.D. plate. A new carb goes with this motor and gearbox and of course there is no warranty or guarantee on the motor as I have not ran it. I can tell you that the motor fired up but ran like crap mostly because of the carb, I"m sure. I was told that there was 27 hours on the engine since de-carbed and less than 70 hours total time but who knows. The engine also has a muffler on it, it is pretty rusted but it goes with it.
