““The ultralight is used and disassembled. It is predominantly complete, although some minor components or hardware may be missing. It would also be advisable to replace much of the hardware, as many of the plated nuts and bolts are rusted. The sails are in average condition. They are dirty from storage and slightly faded but still strong. There is a small tear in the rudder (visible in the photo) and also in one of the wing panels. The wooden propeller may need some repair. The engine was running well at the time of dissemble but has not been run since then. At the time of storage, oil was put into the cylinders.””
Make: Rotec Rally 2B Model Year: 1982
Rotec Rally 2B Ultralight Airplane purchased new in 1982. It was used moderately for a decade, dismantled and stored since the mid 1990"s. It is being sold by the original owner.
It has a Rotax 377 engine. The engine was running well at the time of disassembly but has not been run since then. At the time of storage, oil was put into the cylinders.
The last photo we attached is a commercial, stock photo, to show how the ultralight should appear when assembled. The other photos are of the various actual components of the dismantled ultralight (the place where it is stored is messy, but protected -- so the owners apologize for the cluttered look!). The sails are in average condition. They are slightly faded but still strong, and there is a small tear in the rudder (visible in the photo) and one of the wings. The wooden propeller may need some repair. In the photo of the cockpit, the tail section of a different ultralight is visible. This tail of the different ultralight is not included in this auction.
The ultralight is equipped with the optional wing tip panels - they are barely visible in the photo - they are included in the sale.
The ultralight is predominantly complete, although some minor components or hardware may be missing. We therefore recommend that anyone interested has some knowledge or access to knowledge when it comes to assembling ultralights - we will certainly help to the best of our ability. It would also be advisable to replace much of the hardware, as many of the plated nuts and bolts are rusted.
Local pickup only. Ultralight is being sold as is. Please contact us if you have any questions.
