| SPACE WALKERContinental A-65 power plantCylinders were bore scoped and found in like new condition by an IA in August 2014No electrical system Completed in 1994 and was flown about 8.2 hours until minor accident.Has been sitting in a hanger ever since. I purchased it in January 2014 .Recent work accomplished: Repaired landing gear attach bracket, repacked wheel bearings, installed new tires and tubes Repaired rudder Replaced oil pan Rebuilt and re-installed Carburetor Re-installed wings, rudder and elevators, attempted to start and determined mags are bad. Found a place to do an overhaul on the Eisemann mags for about $1500.00 or could convert to Slicks for about $2000.00 Selling as-is. I have spoken with the original designer of the Spacewalker aircraft and an aircraft pilot/A&P about how this plane flies. It stalls without wing fall off, it spins well, and flies great. Very docile, nice handling characteristics and easy to fly. The airplane and the complete original build log with pictures can be viewed at Foothills Regional Airport (KMRN) Morganton/Lenoir, NC , with prior arrangement. Will transport within 1000 miles of Morganton, NC for $1.50 per mile.
