“lights need to be connected but not sure how to do it. To me the ground steering is a bit stiff at slow speeds and brand new parachute still in box needs to be installed and trimmed out. I have never did this so I will let the new owner do this since they will be flying it and each has their own preferences of trimming the steering lines...other than these things the aircraft if great.”

Summit 2 Powered Parachute powered by a powerful & great running Rotax 582 engine with dual 54 bing carbs that has a kit installed to boost HP to 77 HP. This engine is getting close to the power of the 80 HP version of the Rotax 912. (Please read paper in photo section about this) This aircraft"s been taken care and always sheltered with about 128 hours on it according to the EIS and the seller I bought it from. I installed new yellow inlaid Summit seat covers, and had the aircraft fairing, shop painted last month canary yellow. Please Note: This aircraft is N-numbered but numbers were removed temp when fairing was painted so I will re-apply the numbers this week. The N-Numbers for this aircraft are: N3539D I choose the style & color and ordered a new yellow & white matching ASAP 500 sq ft. parachute for this aircraft in February 2015 with new sleeves and container as seen in the photo"s. The new chute cost $2,490.00 and has not even been taken out of the box as packed from the factory. The wing color is alternating yellow and white as in the photos. I installed green and red position lights as well as two extra strobe lights and landing lights which need to be connected. Although the fairing was on the aircraft, it had no windshield so I ordered it and installed one after having it painted. It runs great, and can fly it as is but the lights need to be connected, about three hours work if you know electrical wiring I"m told and install the brand new ASAP wing and your off..............P.S. None of this wiring I am speaking of has anything to do with the engine or performance, it is just the extra strobe lights, landing lights and position lights I am speaking of which are not even required but I wanted them so I installed them but not sure where to connect the wires to, that is it......
This auction also includes two new yellow head sets that have never been used once with a new two place intercom. Aircraft comes with two new ditty bags also for carrying items, radio holder and more. I ordered and installed a rear passenger foot rest from summit and three new prop covers for blade protection. I am a retired commercial pilot and this is my fourth PPC over a 12 year period and I have enjoyed flying them all. I bought this beautiful machine and over the winter months was prepping it (cosmetically) for spring and summer flying but now suddenly have developed some unexpected health issues. The only thing that needs to be done is a little TLC by connecting the lights and steering checked for to me it steers a bit hard on taxi. If you know about electrical and connecting lights on a 12 volt system and installing the new parachute your probably looking at two or three hours work but I have no experience with electrical and don"t want to guess anything. I want to leave new parachute in the box as it arrived to keep it new and clean as in the photo"s. The complete manual and build paper work comes with this aircraft and every build detail was recorded as shown in photo in the thick white book. I believe I have covered everything i know about this aircraft and if not I can and will add on later. The aircraft is in the southern part of Illinois or about 58 miles north of Paducah, Ky for reference.
This is a great package deal with a low time PPC Summit 2- A brand new still in the box 500 sq ft ASAP yellow and white wing. Remember this is a beefed up Rotax 582 with 77 HP. Questions? Please feel free to contact me at 618-435-2146 or email at- skypilot7777@yahoo.com Please note: The new wing, headsets, brand new never used receiver in photo and intercom are valued at over $3,200.00 alone. Thanks for looking and or bidding. J D Owens
