helicopter project. Requires work/adjustments. Includes the frame with seat, engine (60hp
triple-carb Kawasaki 650), all-aluminum 8" main & 2.75"
tail rotor-blades, instrumentation (temp gauge, tach, main rotor speed gauge).
Requires rebuild of tail-rotor mechanism and various adjustments. According to
builder the drive system pulleys, clutch and tail-rotor bearings need
reworking. Drive belts begin to slip around 5500 engine RPMs and a
reduction-drive and/or cog-belt drive may need to be added. Bearing mounting
holes are slightly oversize and need adjustment. New and possibly heavier-duty
bearings may be needed. These G-1 kits go for 20-25k new so for one needing
fairly light work and tlc would be great for an enthusiast/ hobbyist. I have all the tail rotor parts and extra misc. parts that will go with it. Manuals and step by step instructions for this aircraft can be found online. ·
