For sale is a Rare Zenair Zipper Ultralight Aircraft. Complies with FAR Part 103 Regulations. It is a nice, fixer-upper project aircraft that is in good shape and will take minimal work to get back in the air. I do not have the time, know-how, or equipment to finish this project and I would not want it to deteoriate so it needs to go to a good home. The sails are brand new, still in the box and fabricated by The Ultralight Store. The engine is the original JPX 425 PUL and runs like a champ. Has a brand new Dellorto PHBH carburetor that still needs to be tuned. This aircraft comes with a trailer so you can easily tow it to your nearest airfield, a brand new lap belt from Hooker Harness, a small bin of aircraft grade hardware I compiled that was purchased from Aircraft Spruce Store that includes various AN nuts and bolts, blind, solid, and CherryMax rivets, and safety pins and a manual I put together in a binder that includes the original Zenair sales brochure and owner"s manual and lots of hard to find information about the JPX 425 engine and other equipment. Has light surface corrosion all over the the fuselage but can be easily polished away with a scotch-brite pad, the fuel tank needs to be cleaned a little bit, and the sails still need to be installed. Some pictures show the tail surfaces missing but they are now installed and painted. This has been a fun project for me but it has been put on the back burner for so long and as stated before I would hate to see it go to waste.
