LYCOMINGCONSTANT SPEED HARTZELL PROPAND $400,000 NEW LIST PRICE, SO USED HUSKYS HOLD THEIR VALUE AND ARE IN HIGH DEMAND.THIS AIRCRAFT HAS ONLY 1,675 HOURS TOTAL TIME SINCE NEW ON THE AIRFRAME AND THE ENGINE!ORIGINAL AIRWORTHINESS CERTIFICATE GRANTED 11/7/1991 (ALMOST A 1992) AND WE HAVE COMPLETE AND CONSECUTIVE LOGBOOKS FROM DAY 1 TO CURRENT!THE ANNUAL JUST EXPIRED 11/1/2020, NOT A SITTER OR RAMP QUEEN.UNFORTUNATELY, THE PILOT GOT A LITTLE BEHIND THE AIRPLANE AFTER TOUCHDOWN AND THE AIRPLANE VEERED OFF THE SIDE OF THE GRASS RUNWAY AND INTERSECTED SOME SHRUBS WITH THE LEFT WING LEADING EDGE OUTBOARD.ADDITIONAL DAMAGE WAS TO THE LEFT FLAP TRAILING EDGE AT THE OUTBOARD (LITE) AND THE RIGHT ELEVATOR BALANCE HORN AREA.THE GOOD NEWS IS, THAT’S THE BAD NEWS!THIS AIRPLANE IS ALMOST COMPLETELY UNDAMAGED!!THE LEFT WING LEADING EDGE HAS A NETAL REINFORCEMENT, NOT PLYWOOD, AND THERE ARE SOME SMALL DANT TO THIS LIGHT ALUMINUM SHEET. THE AREA WITH THE DENTS IS CONVENIENTLY CLOSE TO THE LANDING LIGHT BUCKET (THE BUCKET IS OK, AS ARE THE LED LIGHTS, BUT THE PLEXIGLASS COVER IS BROKEN), SO IT WOULD SEEM FEASABLE TO GAIN ACCESS TO THE DENTED PANELS THROUGH THE BUCKET AREA AND JUST PUSH THE DENTS OUT!THE FABRIC IS NOT CUT IN THESE DENTED AREAS, JUST SOME PAINT MISSING.THE LEFT FLAP IS SLIGHTLY BENT UP AT THE OUTBOARD TRAILING EDGE AND WILL REQUIRE REPAIR.THE RIGHT ELEVATOR IS BENT UP AT THE PROTRUDING FORWARD AREA AND OUTBOARD END AND WILL REQUIRE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT. IT IS PRESUMED THAT THIS DAMAGE HAPPENED AFTER THE INCIDENT, WHEN THE FRIENDLY AIRPORT PEOPLE CAME TO “HELP” RETRIEVE THE AIRPLANE FROM THE SIDE OF THE RUNWAY. I SEE THIS “AFTER” DAMAGE TOO OFTEN.THE HORIZONTAL STAB AND FLYING WIRES ARE NOT DAMAGED, AND THE LEFT SIDE ASSEMBLY IS ALSO STRAIGHT, IT WAS NOT INVOLVED!THE AIRPLANE DOES NOT SHOW ANY FURTHER DAMAGE RELATED TO THIS LOW SPEED, GROUND-ONLY INCIDENT!THE FUSELAGE AND ALL 3 LANDING GEAR ARE STRAIGHT! (THE AIRPLANE WAS MOVED WITH NO AIR IN THE TUBES, SO THE TIRES CAME OFF THE RIMS). THE TIRES THEMSELVES LOOK GOOD AND MORE IMPORTANTLY THE WHEELS ARE UNDAMAGED!THE RIGHT WING, FLAP, AILERON AND TIP ARE UNDAMAGED!THE LEFT WING HAS NO SPAR OR STUCTURE DAMAGE OUTSIDE OF THE LEADING EDGE DAMAGE SHOWN!ALL OF THE LIFT STRUTS AND JURY STRUTS ARE GOOD!THE FIREWALL, ENGINE MOUNT, EXHAUST AND COWLING WERE NOT DAMAGED!THERE IS NO DAMAGE TO THE HARTZELL CONSTANT SPEED PROP!THIS PROP WAS NEW IN 2002 AND HAS THE “B” HUB, NO AD’S APPLY TO THIS NEW STYLE PROP!THE ENGINE IS UNDAMAGED AND HAS THE SAME 1,675 SNEW AS THE AIRFRAME. THE INTERIOR IS IN VERY NICE CONDITION.ALL OF THE ENGINE AND AIRFRAME “STRIP” GUAGES HAVE BEEN REPLACED BY THE COMPLETE DIGITAL SCREEN EDM-900 CERTIFIED DISPLAY!.EGT/CHT SCANNER, TACH AND MANIFOLD PRESSURE, OIL TEMP AND PRESSURE, FUEL PRESSURE, FUEL FLOW AND TOTALIZER, FUEL QUANTITY, ALL IN 1 BIG RECTANGULAR DISPLAY, CERTIFIED AS PRIMARY FOR THIS AIRPLANE!FULL FLIGHT INSTRUMENTS ALSO INCLUDED.NO AVIONICS ARE INCLUDED IN THIS AUCTION (THEY WERE 1991 VINTAGE, NOT THE KIND OF COOL STUFF YOU CAN GET, AND DESIRE, TODAY).
