“Aircraft project, requires complete restoration, and is roughly 90% complete (no engine, or propeller included)”
Make: Naval Aircraft Factory Model Year: 1941
Mostly complete firewall aft (roughly 90% complete). The aircraft was assembled and intact on gear prior to restoration, so most of the pieces are included. The restoration has been started, the fuselage is mostly finished and the craftsmanship is excellent. There are lots of fuselage parts and components that have been cleaned, painted and boxed, ready for installation. Nice straight engine mount included, but application is unknown. There are lots of extra parts and pieces for the aircraft included, ranging from very nice condition to very rough condition, please be advised that photos show everything mixed together, including the rough items. There is way too much to list, or inventory, so you will have to come look. Project also includes many new pieces and raw materials, including three lengths of new spar stock, and many other fabricated pieces. Also includes lots of drawings and manuals (some printed some on CD ROM). This is a very restorable project for the right person. The aircraft has an assigned N Number (N44938), has current registration, airworthiness certificate and a copy of FAA files. No log books. Project was recently purchased at auction for some unrelated propeller inventory. Buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements and removal. The project can be temporarily stored where it is while shipping arrangements are being made as long as project is paid for in full. A non-refundable deposit will be $250.00 is required within 48 hours of purchase, no exceptions, payment in full due within 7 days of purchase to be paid with cash or certified funds. Please very serious inquiries only, and email with any other questions. Please email for link to lots of additional photos. Main photo is not actual aircraft, just an idea of what it looks like.
