This beauty recently has undergone an extensive ground up restoration finishing up in 2015 (photos of the entire process process available). She is almost better than new! Beautiful white/red paint over Poly Fiber. Light sport qualified! 736 hr SMOH and 3455 hr TT. The Chief has the standard Continental A65-8 engine (65hp, hand propped). Last annual completed 7/17. Upon completion of sale, we will initiate with our A&P IA mechanic to complete the annual inspection so the aircraft can be picked up with a fresh annual, or, if you have the preference for your mechanic to perform the inspection, we will offer a $500 refund to you to assist with the cost. The Aircraft can be seen at KVNW in Van Wert Ohio. We have documentation on the aircraft back to factory, including the original materials sheet from Aeronca.
