the is a barn find. a 1944 taylorcraft BC-12-D tail # N-26644 serial # 1986 with a Continental A-65-8 engine.i was told it was hung up in some high tension wires over 20 years ago and has been setting ever since. the right wing suffered all the damage. both front and rear spars are broken. left wing is good, just a few hole in the fabric. the fuselage is good and straight and the tail feathers are also good. the panel is in tack. all the gauges and radios are still there. the seat is in good shape and is all the liners. both wing struts are bent and can not be fixed. the tires hold air for moving but are dry rotted. the 65 HP engine was running at the time but has been setting for over 20 years, NO PROP STRIKE, Continental A-65-8 engine.i rolled it out with 2 fingers, it moves real easy.ask any questions you like. buyer must remove NO shipping$500.00 non refundable deposit at end of sale and the rest on pick up.this would be a great project plane for your club or your self
