“Wings were removed to transport. Aircraft is complete. aircraft was in a hanger for at least the last 30 years that I know about, & was told by a gentleman that last flew the plane it had been hangered most of its life. Aircraft will need to have the wings put back on & inspected & annualled. I also found a couple of places where the fabric will need to be repaired I believe from transporting them, but did not find any major problems at all. I broke the tie down hook on the tail when I was transporting it so it will need to be repaired. Aircraft is a nice project. Will also need a battery. See pictures. 1946 Ercoupe 415-C LSA TTAF 2554 TTSMOH 708 STOH 21 With Sentry Aircraft Chrome Cylinders. last annual 11/2003. Previous owner had for over 30 years. Airplane had been sitting in a hanger in the Dallas Texas area for about 30 years when I purchased it & I have it stored inside as well for the last year. Log Books since 1964. Carburetor will probably need to be overhauled due to fuel was not drained out of it & the gas bowl. I am only selling this one due to I have two. Strobe light on the bottom will also need to be replaced due to I removed it when I transported it. I also found a few places on the wing fabric that will need to be repaired, probably from when I hauled it. The inspection holes were installed by the previous owner who was a aircraft mechanic & I was told by his friend that he did fabric recovering as part of his job. Fabric looks good & I don"t think he would have put the inspection holes & covers on bad fabric. The fabric will need to be checked when plane is annualled.
