**Fresh annual inspection just completed**
Here is your chance to own a complex, high performance aircraft with only 500 hours on the engine for less than some of the Cessna 150s on the market! This plane is extremely fast, runs great, has a fresh annual, is extremely fuel efficient, has very nice interior with digital radio and will make you a great cross-country aircraft. With the purchase of an STC to allow the use of automotive fuel (*without alcohol), you can fly for under $20/hour in fuel.
Classic Bonanzas like this one are getting really hard to find. The 1947 model is one of the best years ever produced with the small tail and no AD. It was extremely fast in the original configuration with the 185hp engine but when upgraded to the 225hp engine and Hartzell hydraulic prop as this one has been, it"s even better.
Bonanzas are one of the 10 best buys in aviation right now. They are solid, stable, easy to fly and extremely economical. There aren"t too many planes that will easily run 160 mph on 10 gallons per hour and have the ability to run 87 octane automotive fuel (without alcohol).
AIRFRAME With only 2400 hours total time on this airframe, it"s obvious it has been used very little. The paint is old and faded but now you can pick the color scheme you want and have it painted to your standards or just fly it the way it is. It has not been washed in the pictures but will be before you take delivery. I know that it will look a world better with a fresh coat of wax on it. It has the one piece windshield modification and third window conversion.
INTERIOR The seats are beautiful, headliner and glass are all in above average shape.

ENGINE You will never find another Bonanza at this price that features a 225hp engine with only 500 hours on it. Hartzell hydraulic prop has 665 hours since overhaul. With the purchase of the STC to run 87 octane auto fuel (without alcohol), you can significantly extend your flying budget by saving at least $1.00/gallon. With fuel prices at under $2/gal that means you can easily fly for $20/hour. Engine hours will change slightly as plane continues to be flown. Plane flies amazingly well and runs great.
You will not be disappointed in this plane at this price. A fresh annual inspection has just been completed. It is a 4-place, complex, high performance aircraft with a low time engine and a low time prop. Additionally, it"s priced lower than most Cessna 172"s and some 150"s! With a fuel burn of only 10-11 gallons per hour at 160+ mph and the ability to run 87 octane auto fuel, you can cover a lot of ground on very little money. You can also slow down to about 130-135mph and burn about 8-8.5gph average. I"ve personally had fuel burn down to 6.5 gph on a plane with the same engine on a trip from Kansas City to Memphis last year.
