I bought this airplane a few years ago, but I find that I will not have time to assemble it. I believe it is mostly complete, except for the propeller. The engine turns over freely and has not failed. I have complete log books from the original test flight in March of 1947 until present time. It was disassembled in about 1992 for recovering. This would be a great winter project, without much initial investment. The engine core itself is worth about $4,000. This is an as-is sale. We can assist with loading the aircraft upon pick up. We will provide 30 days
of free storage. After 30 days, terms are to be negotiated. Final payment will be sent to Powell Aircraft Title. They will be handling the closing on the airplane to ensure that everything is done properly and you get a clear title to the aircraft.
