1947 Stinson Voyager 108-2, N8048K. This is a project started by my father, Allen “Big Al” Wyndham. Unfortunately, Al passed away before he could finish so we need to sell N8048K. Al was an A & P and all of the work thus far on the aircraft is excellent. The Franklin 165 engine has been completely rebuilt by Debs Aircraft, with only 5 hours of run-up time on the engine.
All original working instruments, new wiring, needs up-dated avionics. Includes Cleveland brakes, Scott tailwheel, new Goodyear tires and tubes (in box, not pictured), and a tow-hook (Al used to fly banners), brand new bottom cowling, nose bowl, Airtex headliner, carpets, seats, and lots more. Many new or restored parts in boxes, waiting to be re-assembled. In addition, lots of surplus materials, old instruments, hardware, compressor, drill-press, tools, hardware storage cabinets, and more. Total airframe time is 1,928 hours, 5 hours SMOH. Log books and photographs available. $11,500 for all. N8048K has been in an enclosed hangar since Al purchased it in 1970. The plane is located in California’s Central Valley, at the 1927 historic Visalia Airport (KVIS). Contact Desiree (Wyndham) Rodgers, Walnut Creek, (925) 330-7282
