I got the Call, starting with the majors in March. Need to make adjustments in my lifestyle so putting up the 170 for sale.
Around 3350tt, 50SMOH, 60SPOH, new millennium cylinders, over $55,000 in receipts, May 2015 annual. Oil change Dec 2015, wheel alignment, 180 gear, Cleveland brakes, 8x6 main tires, P Ponk gear boxes, new 1 piece windshield with cover, new Windows, Scott Tailwheel, spin on oil filter, additional oil cooler, new hoses, vacuum pump, icom A200 radio, 60amp alternator to power all the latest electronics, 2 new antennas, paint is old but looks classic, seats are in good shape but rest of interior could use TLC, has sheepskin covers on the front. Great for a back country flyer. Flew it yesterday, she flew great, smooth and level. She has $18,000 alone in the motor. When she left the factory in 1950 she had the float fittings attached. Spent the first 4 years of her life as a float plane. I wish i had the edo2000"s but do not. But the fittings are there. Log books date back to 1954. Had dents and bruises but for a 60 year old airplane its expected. Lets go flying.
