I bought this 1956 Pa22-150 airframe with
the intention of restoring it. (TTAF 1767). The wings have been metalized with STC.
There are complete logbooks. I also bought a Lycoming 0-320 and it sits in a crate
with all the firewall forward including a Sensenich M74DM75. This engine (TT
2516, TSMO 1160) was removed from a 56 Pa22 that had been stored since 1991. All the logs are included. I"ve turned my attention to another project so I"m selling this. The airframe was inspected by an IA and found to have NO
structural or functional defects. The tail feathers had been recovered in Ceconite.
Accept for the wings which will need to be repainted, the paint is fair and ALL
the fabric passed a Maule punch test. The interior is complete and the seat
upholstery is in fair condition. I have disassembled the interior, removed the firewall to
replace the pad and installed a set of Williams rudder/brake pedals (with STC)
so a set of Cleveland wheels/brakes will need to be purchased. All the
parts have been bagged and labeled. Aside from replacing the nonfunctional DG
and installing an updated nav/com and adding the Cleveland wheels, this is a
complete Pa22 waiting to be reassembled and brought current. The plane is being sold with no reserve. I have $15,000 in it now. $2000 deposit due within 48 hours of auction end. I will assist in loading for transport. Located in Gainesville Fl. Sold as is, where is with no guarantee or warranty. Current date: 2019-03-08
