| 1957 Straight Tail 172 for sale. This project needs to be completed. All parts and paint are there. Dupont Imron base/clear paint ($3,000 for paint materials!). I was flying this before I disassembled the plane for restoration a few years ago. Continental O-300 3100TT and 1600SMOH, 600STOH. Mid 70s compression. Runs really nice. NO CORROSION AT ALL!!! All log books since brand new. Kept inside since being disassembled. The mags and carburetor have been overhauled and are sealed in bag. Fuselage is professionally painted, the rest needs to be painted and completed. Paint and scheme is stunning. Ready for transport. New tires, brakes, bearings. I have another plane to fly, so I have no need or time to complete the project. The plane can be seen at the Manchester Airport...KMHT. I have a brand new in the boxes Airtex gray leather interior that can be included for EXTRA...the original blue cloth interior is included with purchase. I will not sell the Airtex interior separately until the plane is sold. |
