Here is a very rare but very cool aircraft that can be yours! A 1957 Nord 3202 S/N 040 N2253R The Nord is a French military trainder designed to meet the requirement for a a two-seat basic trainer. Only 50 were built with the Potez 4D34 engine which this one has!! The 3202 is a cantilever low-wing monoplane with a fixed tailwheel landing gear and a nose mountd pistion entine, a enclosed tandem style cockpit giving both instructor and student that fighter look and feel. It is unknown what year this Nord was imported to the states and at the time no records were given to give history. New logs were made up in 99" and a new hobbs meter was installed. Today the aircraft has around 175hrs of flight since being in the states The engine: Potez 4D34D S/N 5161 260hp, again it is unknown the total time on this engine, a new hobbs was installed after being imported and engine has around 175hrs of flight time since being here, NO PROP STRIKE. Last compression recorded: 78 78 79 80 over 80 Propeller: Hartzell HC-B3Z31-4 S/N BY124 175hrs since overhaul back in 99" Avionics: Basic instrument package, King KY 196 Comm transceiver installed A Special Airworthiness Certificate under the Category EXPERIMENTAL was given for this aircraft. It is a NORD 3202 but given Experimental here in the states. Airworthiness Cert. is included! Now this Nord is a project, while being towed behind a pickup truck by the tail wheel something went wrong. Now I dont know the whole story but was told that the aircraft came loose from the truck and rolled off the taxi ramp and into a ditch. As a result the tail wheel was broken off and the rudder sustained damage. Also there was a large amount of stress put on the left hand gear leg with caused the wing spar to wrinkle in that area. I was told that the wing can be repaired but will need to be deskinned and straightened. This isnt a quick fix, the plane will need time and patience to be up flying again. The positive side, no engine work to be done and you will have the only Nord 3202 around!!! Log books since 99" will be included. Aircraft is currently located in Jonesboro AR. Winning bidder will have 30 days a free rent after close of auction, after that buyer is responsible for tie down fees.
