This plane will not last long at this price. It is priced below all comparable planes on the market and below many of the E series models. The J-35 uses the later model Continental IO-470 250 hp fuel injected engine. These planes are extremely fast and fuel efficient without the higher fuel burn of the IO-520 powered bonanzas due to their light weight.
I flew the plane 100 miles on 1/17/16 and was amazed at it"s performance. It pulled harder on takeoff than my personal Bonanza with a 520 in it. I easily climbed out at 1500+ fpm and comfortably cruised at 150mph at less than 9 gallons per hour.
Previously owned by a doctor for the last 16 years. It is a very smooth running plane that is extremely fast and fuel efficient. This would be the perfect high performance/complex transition aircraft for someone at a bargain price.
**Available for additional cost is a Dual Yoke**
AIRFRAME ONLY 2616 hours TTAF. Paint is in above average condition with some chipping on the leading edges. It"s not bad enough to necessitate a repaint. I"d just have the leading edges spot painted and it would be a solid 7/10. Windshield upgraded to one piece sloped. Glass is clear and shows that this plane has been hangar kept and well cared for. All control surfaces have been re-skinned *with aluminum* so you"ll likely never have to do that again. Aux fuel tanks are installed so you have 20 gallon mains and 10 gallon auxiliary in each wing for a total of 60 gallons. Or, just fill the mains and save weight for local flying.
ENGINE 704 hours since major overhaul. Engine runs extremely well and is remarkably clean with no noticeable oil consumption. A spin on oil filter extends the oil change intervals and life of the engine.
PROP
Newer 2 bladed hydraulic prop installed with only 89 hours on it.
AVIONICS Collins 720 channel digital nav/com flip/flop, Collins manual backup radio, Narco transponder. There"s more static in the radio than I like but I expect it just needs the contacts cleaned or has a bad ground wire. No intercom installed - previous owner had a portable intercom that he kept when he sold the plane. These are available for about $100 though.
INTERIOR
Interior is in extremely good condtion with almost new carpet, nice cloth seats, shoulder harnesses for all 4 seats, clear glass and one-piece windshield. *spot on passenger seat has been steam cleaned away* Dual Yoke available for additional $$$.
This is a steal for a late model Bonanza with the IO-470C 250hp fuel injected engine. It"s hard to buy one of the E-series engine powered bonanzas for this price.
Delivery possible. We have several pilots who would jump at the opportunity to fly this awesome aircraft. Delivery cost is normally Fuel, Oil, Hotels (if required), return airfare and $250/day pilot fee.
